Ambassadors
Meet Our Ambassador: Kyla Young
The Easter Seals Nova Scotia Ambassador plays and important role in our organization; speaking and acting on our behalf at fundraising and public events.
Kyla Young is 14 years old and has been our ambassador since 2010. This spring, Kyla graduated from Astral Drive Junior High and will be starting Grade 10 at Auburn Drive High School this fall.
Kyla writes, “Since I’ve been the ambassador, I’ve done things like starting the Easter Egg Hunt at Mic Mac Mall, I went to the Zip Zone fundraiser at the MacDonald bridge to watch them rappel from the bridge and thanked all the participants for taking part, and I’ve taken part in two of Easter Seals’ galas. Each event I have participated in has been so much fun!
My favourite thing is still going to Camp Tidnish every summer. I have so many friends there and we have so much fun!
I am proud to be the Easter Seals Ambassador because I get to be a part of something wonderful!”

Kyla has done a great job representing Easter Seals Nova Scotia and we greatly appreciate her work on our behalf.
