Become a Volunteer

Volunteers are our energy and our spirit. If it wasn’t for community involvement, Easter Seals Nova Scotia could not do the valuable and necessary work that people in need count on us to do.

“I volunteer for Easter Seals every year because the programs they offer do very practical work every day to support individuals and families – and it is exciting to be part of such a successful project that provides real benefit to so many people! Easter Seals staff struggle continually to provide the most benefit to the most people in need, and I want to be part of raising money to give them more resources to do so.”

Volunteers make up an integral part of Easter Seals Nova Scotia’s operation. Each year volunteers serve on project committees to organize events, help with making phone calls and office clerical work, participate in our special events and assist with our various fitness and job skills programs.

Double your donation!  Many companies offer a donation-matching program where they match the monetary or hourly donations of their employees.  It’s easy to find out by contacting your Payroll or Human Resource Departments and ask if there is a matching program in place.

There are many ways in which you can help Easter Seals Nova Scotia. Volunteering your time and talents are an invaluable resource to us and We invite you to get involved!
