CALLING ALL SUPERHEROES… JOIN THE DROP ZONE CHALLENGE!
Drop Zone is back on OCTOBER 3
September 30, 2020 at 1801 Hollis street, Halifax – brave rappellers will go down Halifax’s tallest office building!
WHAT IS DROP ZONE?
Drop Zone is a knee-shaking, heart-pounding, adrenaline-pumping adventure that encourages you to get out of your comfort zone and face your fears by rappelling from the top of Halifax’s tallest office building – all in support of Nova Scotians living with disabilities.
Whether you’re able-bodied or have a disability, the Easter Seals Drop Zone gives you a once-in-a-lifetime chance to challenge yourself and change lives!
Drop Zone is Easter Seals’ signature fundraising event. First hosted in Halifax in 2004 by Easter Seals Nova Scotia. Since then, Drop Zone has made its way to other provinces and over 9,000 brave superheroes have stepped off the edge in support of Easter Seals. Together, we have raised $16 million for Easter Seals programs and services in support of Canadians living with disabilities.

You can register as an individual, or better yet, create a team of superheroes and take the Drop Zone challenge with your friends, family or colleagues, and raise funds to help support programs and services for people living with disabilities. The minimum amount required to rappel is $1,250 per team member or $5,000 per team of 4.
WHERE DO THE FUNDS GO?
100% funds raised stay in Nova Scotia!
Funds raised will help support Easter Seals Nova Scotia’s four pillar programs. New Leaf Enterprises, Take PART, Assisted Mobility and Camp Tidnish. Drop Zone funds enables us to keep our barrier-free summer Camp Tidnish physically and financially accessible to our campers, helps us provide affordable wheelchairs and mobility equipment, assists us with our inclusive sport programs, and supports our skills and workplace training services for Nova Scotians with disabilities.
WILL THERE BE TRAINING?
We’ve run this event smoothly for 15 years. We engage a local company to provide hands-on training of how the equipment works and the technical requirements of the drop.
